About the Class

Choir will focus on experiencing the joy of music through singing.  No previous experience or skill level is required.  In this class, we will sing a variety of music from different cultures, musical eras and languages.

Students will learn to sing in multiple voice parts(2-4 part harmony), read and analyze music, and make connections to meaningful human experiences through the text.  

PERFORMANCE DATES:

• Winter Concert on January 12

• Spring Concert on April 20

• Spring Showcase on April 27

REQUIRED MATERIALS

1. $50 music fee included in tuition to cover the cost of music being distributed. This music will be theirs to keep.

5. Formal black dress clothes for performance.  Black pants/formal shirt (or long dress).  Black dress shoes.  Black socks.
