About the Class:
From Eden to Eternity: The Bible's Story + Yours
The Bible is fundamentally one grand narrative centered upon the person and work of Christ. In this two-semester course for high school students, we will walk through the overarching storyline of Scripture, from Eden to Eternity. Two major biblical-theological themes—covenant and God's kingdom—will be utilized to tell the grand story of the Bible.

Along the way, we will stop to focus on key spiritual formation concepts in our lives—our story—that arise out of the Bible’s story. These include identity, purpose, vocation, fellowship, worship, hope, and mission. The assignments for this course will include Bible reading, memory verses, written reflections, and quizzes.

The major goals of this course are to grasp how the whole Bible fits together and to discern how our story fits into God’s grand story for His world. Students are encouraged to see and live their lives out of the context of their place in the biblical drama, for God’s glory and our neighbors’ good. Along with every Bible course here at Journey, this course is designed to further equip students for a life-long journey of learning to know and treasure God through studying and applying His Word to their everyday lives.
