Learn the history of the United States from the earliest explorers to the present day. Understand our
country's place in historical context, and how this relates to our role in the present world. Understand
how various streams of Christian thought have interacted with our political and social history.

Students will complete Ray Notgrass's Exploring America curriculum, and write weekly “tell it back to
me” essays of 300-500 words.
