ABOUT THE CLASS

1 Peter 5:7 states,

“Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you”,

and Phil. 4:13 states,

“I can do all this through him who gives me strength”.

How apropos these verses are as we explore the world of psychology from a Biblical worldview; understanding that it is not by our might or by our power but by the Lord’s spirit (Zechariah 4:6) that we are able to heal and make changes in our lives.

In this class we will not only be studying the topic of psychology but learning how to approach psychology from a Christian perspective; understanding that the Bible is our inspiration and authority for all our studies.

Our textbook was written by Dr. Tim Rice, who holds a Doctor of Ministry (D. Min.) degree and is also a licensed professional counselor (LPC).
