MEET THE JOURNEY
BOARD MEMBERS

The Journey Board is made up of 5 volunteer moms who homeschool and are members of the Journey Co-Op. They are honored to serve the students, teachers and families of this co-op and desire to see the St. Croix Valley homeschool community thrive, helping to facilitate meaningful relationships and support in your homeschool Journey. Our volunteer board members play a crucial role in the governance and functioning of this homeschool co-op .They are individuals who offer their time, skills, and expertise to serve on the board of directors without receiving any financial compensation - please be gracious as these are not the board members full time jobs.

 

Here's a brief description of how the Board functions with in the Co-Op.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Governance & Organization

• Policy Development

• Decision Making

• Fiduciary Duty

• Oversight and Evaluation

• Online Content development and management

• Recruiting & interviewing potential Teachers for Journey families/students

• Current Teacher contracts, evaluations and communication

• Overseeing service teams and volunteers, recruitment for fill-in volunteers

• Building location and Usage Contracts

• Legal responsibilities

• Communication with teachers, families, co-op and all inquiries

• Strategic planning, Events
