About Danielle
Danielle Colbenson - 1/2 Music, MS/HS Choir
My name is Danielle Colbenson and I am overjoyed to be teaching in my first year for Journey Homeschool Co-op! My husband, Ben, and I are residents of Spring Valley, WI, where we live a mile from our family dairy farm and raise five beautiful children on our homestead (ages newborn- 8 years old). We like to spend our free time finding new ways to build our hobby farm and getting dirty on the family dairy farm. Our family is almost always busy with new projects and dreams. I graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a degree in Vocal Music Education in 2011. Singing has been a tremendous love of mine for as long as I can remember, and I love to share my love of music with the next generation of young people. This year will be my return to the world of teaching choir. I taught for two years after graduating school and have now been raising children for the last eight years from home, while also teaching private piano and voice on the side. I cannot wait for the opportunity to work with your children this year!
