Kristell Miller PhD NEW TEACHER - Elementary Science Scouting (3-6) NEW CLASS
Hi! I’m Kristell Miller, and I’m thrilled to bring Science Scouts to The Journey this year! I’m a scientist, writer, and outdoor educator who loves helping kids explore the amazing world God designed - from animal tracks and ecosystems to hands-on experiments and outdoor adventures. I hold a PhD in Natural Resources Science and spent years teaching college courses and working as a corporate sustainability scientist. Now I lead Science Scouts, a program that blends nature study, outdoor skills, and real science discovery - all while looking for clues and evidence of intelligent design in the world around us. My husband and I live in Hudson, but we spend lots of time at our family’s log cabin in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, where I write wildlife books and explore the woods with our kids and grandkids. What I love most about teaching is seeing that “lightbulb moment” when something clicks and kids light up with curiosity. I can’t wait to meet your young scientists and spark some discoveries together!
